Describe your job story :
God led me to the job. I had been unemployed for almost two years. I was on the way home from a job interview and the roads were blocked. The police officer said that it was a fire near my home, so I had to go somewhere until everything was clear. So I went to the nearest bookstore to buy some time. When I walked in, the lady behind the counter asked, “Can I help you?” I said, “Yeah, are you hiring?” She smiled and said “Yes, we are.” Then she handed me an application. I was dressed up and I already had my resume and reference letters, because I just left an interview. I filled out the application and before I got home my phone rang. It was the owner. “Can you come for an interview tomorrow?” She knew ALL of my references. That’s God.

What did you want to be when you were a child/ teenager?
I wanted to have a job working with computers. (Computer programmer, Network Engineer, etc.)

Are doing your dream job?
No, but it’s related to my vision. Part of my Dream is to be a Bestselling author. I’m learning a lot by working at my job.

What do you like MOST about what you do?
I like the people (Coworkers & Customers) and being around all of those books. I get to see the manifestation of where I’m headed EVERYDAY.

What do you like the LEAST?
When employees have a negative attitude. It irritates me.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Author a several bestselling books. Wealthier. Healthier. Married. Not working on a job, but working on my vision.

Are you happy with where you are in life? YES. My life now is the BEST it’s ever been. It’s like that every year. I strive to make every year better than the last year. Though there have been hurdles and speed bumps, I continue to strive…HARD!

What more do you want to do with your life?
I want to CHANGE my Life so much that it becomes contagious. I want to change the lives of everyone who comes in contact with me.

What drives/motivates you?
The Word of God always gets me going. My family. Also, people who have Dreams that are just as big as mine. I Love people who go for it.

What else do you do?
God has called me to teach, so I Love breaking down the Bible to make it simple and easy to understand. When people can understand the Word, it gets rooted in them and you can never take it away. Writing is one of the ways I teach. My first book “Life in Righteousness” will be out this summer. But for now, I have the popular “Voice of Righteousness” Newsletter (http://TheWordisYourLife.com/).
I also have 2 Blogs: “Billie Reads” http://BillieReads.blogspot.com/ . This is my Book Club where I discuss different books that I believe are Life-Changing. My other Blog is “Billie Writes” http://BillieWrites.blogspot.com/. This is a personal journal that I post about my process of self-publishing my first Bestselling book.

What is your advice to those who are seeking employment and have no hope?
A job is not your source. It’s just a resource. God is your source. He has a million ways to get you provision…all you need is one. Don’t worry, you’ll find a job. You were looking for a job when you found your last one. The key though is to trust God. You have to believe that He is a Provider. Don’t give up! Don’t quit! There is hope!
