Happy Birthday, Edith Head!

I am not a fashion mogul or anything like that, but I am definitely in love with autobiographies and biographies of amazing icons. Particularly, female icons. I love reading about their lives, successes, and accomplishments. Google is celebrating a special lady today and although I haven't read your life story just yet, I am astonished by her results in Google images.

I Googled Edith Head and got a whole bunch of pics!

I love them all.

There are a couple that caught my eye:

I would LOVE to have her drive and tenacity.

The visuals are very stimulating.

I love her creativity.

I love how she still lives on.

"Get off Your Lazy Buns!"

Okay...now that I have gotten your attention again, I wanted to give you this slice of motivation:
You can do anything you want to do. You are powerful. You are able. You are capable. Never let anyone tell you differently. Stop giving up because you "don't feel like it." You will push forth toward your dreams ANYWAY.

I keep my smile because that's the best I can do. Behind my smile is stress, overthinking, and more stress...but guess what? I refuse to let it get the best of me. I refuse to allow life to ruin my beauty or take all my teeth. I refuse to stop smiling. Smiling gets me through.

Learning How to Use Your Cell Phone as Your Money Maker

We use our cell phones every day for pretty much everything: games, conversation, account check-ups, textings, instant messaging, photography. You name it, the phone's used for it. But have you ever stopped to look as your phone as a business tool? Have you ever looked at the thing and wondered, This could be my money maker?

I mean...

Sure you can download helpful apps, but what about getting clients, blogging, and just using it as a tool overall.

I am at the very end of my 20s and I am hoping that by the time I reach 30, I will be a true expert at using my cell phone as a money making device. There's a quote that says,

If you profit WITHOUT providing value shame on you.If you provide value WITHOUT profiting, shame on the people you’re providing value to.
Love it.

I am coming outta this ole busy-body shell and using my time wisely! <--- That's me trying to convince myself.

Comments are welcome below.

If you are going through a rough patch of unemployment, indecisiveness, and confusion about your life's purpose, your best bet would be to start thinking of what you're good at and go from there. You will be surprised at how many skills you will find when you put the light on your own self.

Entrepreneurship Begins in the Mind

Entrepreneurship begins in the MIND

Your mind has to be MADE UP to have your own business.

My vision is that I will be successful

In my own business.

I will also be working from my cell phone

And not always a laptop or computer.

If your mind is READY to absorb new info...

If you are mentally prepared to have your

Own biz... develop your own vision...

You WILL Succeed

I'm a full time librarian and author.

I love what I do...
but I literally needed to be recharged.

...As I was saying...

I needed something more to look forward to.
I got the lead out myself and did research,
as I always do, and stumbled on Empower Network.

Success begins in the mind.
You have MUCH to look forward to.
If you are open and won't drag your feet...
...if you will check your emails often...
follow all the steps I tell you,
YOU WILL SUCCEED.

But you must be open.

Stay locked in and go the extra mile.

You've overcome many possible bumps by simply being open.

I'm proud of you.

Taking a Different Turn with this Blog

I absolutely love you.

Yes, you. The one that's been keeping  up with this blog.

Although it has been geared toward posting awesome young leaders in their 20s and 30s and their successes, I would like to use this blog to share what keeps my motor rolling.

I am too excited about the new mindset that I have lately.

After being terminated from a high-paying job a year and some change ago, I have become enlightened by entrepreneurship and the concept of being financially independent. The day that I lost my job, I was free! I got a chance to feel what other unemployed folk felt. The people at the unemployment office stood in line with despair drawn all over their faces, but I had hope.

After getting another job, I was grateful, but something within me still tugged at having my own business.

So I researched....

and researched...

...and studied.

I have my own consulting business to help aspiring authors to get published, but I am not getting much revenue.

Yes, I'm employed.

But mark my works....

I WILL BE A FULL TIME ENTREPRENEUR SOON.
